kebaya

k.e.b.a.y.a

kebaya is Javanese traditional dress. I make it a bit modern with organza material as the outer.
Choose organza comes with embroidery, or buy organza that already added with embroidery.

This embroidery will be used in the edge of the dress..

At the collar, i make it standing collar to give an modern touch in it...

Stylesight's Best of Bridal - Fall/Winter 2011 Trend Board

Vera Wang

My fav fashion designer is

Vera Wang

..

She so talented..
She always offers a fresh, simple, elegant dress...

Shown is Fall/Winter 2011 Trend from her collection..
With soft colors from pearl grey, pale yellow, soft purplish grey make these gown looks so "clear"

The design is from figure-flattering mermaids to columns to volumnious ball gowns - and fabric ranged from traditional tulles and taffetas to crincked organzas

so loveeee it!

wedding gown

wohooo...

this one is for wedding gown..
i love simplicity, so.. just make it simple :D

here are some details of this dress:
- i make it 2 layers: the first one (the inner) is from sateen, at the edge (at the breast) fold it and the second one (the outer) is from flowery lace

- for the outer(flowery lace), do not choose a full flower pattern since it will make the dress feels heavy..
- at the upper back side, put the lace to cover the shoulder, make it in the form of triangle..
- for the bottom back area, divide the lace into 2 part to make it a bit ball gown.
add additional layered lace inside the division to make a tassel.
- add a belt with red or black to show the strength of this gown.

simplicity

So far, this is my fav design. I call it "simplicity".
Simple party dress with soft wool..
I make it backless since the design itself is pretty simple, so I have to put an eye catching part of it...

I put a simple flowery yarn to make it chic, in the right shoulder...
